WELCOME TO FLASHTEST!
Our annual friendly climbing competition is all about community, fun, and shared progress. After listening to feedback from last year, we’ve changed this years format.
Each Flashtest takes place over one day per location, and participants can join at multiple locations.
There will be 15 routes or 36 new boulders to climb. You will only have to climb a selection within your assigned category. See the rules below to determine your category!
EVENT INFORMATION
Participants earn points for every zone and top they achieve. This can earn them a spot in the finals!
Every point increases your chances to win prizes in the final raffle!
So even if you’re not chasing podiums, you can still win!

Every climber gets a free FLASHTEST SHIRT! and we’re raffling awesome LA SPORTIVA prices to all competitors. The more points you have, the more chance of a big prize!
All the scoring is handled through the TopLogger app, which can be downloaded on all major platforms. If this doesn’t work, please ask one of our staff members for assistance
EVENT RULES
Everyone competes in the same overall spirit, all genders together.
For ever
The top 2 climbers from Mid and Max go into the finals! to battle for a final winner!
The more points you collect through the event, the more chances of winning a raffle prize!
Scoring is handled through the TopLogger app.
Toprope competition
4 to 5 competition routes per climber.
Points for zones + tops.
Start: 5a to 6b. Send 6A? Time to move up to Mid
Mid: 6A to 7a. Send 6C? Time to move up to Max
Max: 6c to 8a
One final route decides the winner in the finals!
Boulder competition
4 to 5 competition routes per climber.
Points for zones + tops.
Start: 4 to 6a Crushed 5C? Time to move up to Mid
Mid: 5C to 6C Crushed 6C? Time to move up to Max
Max: 6B to 7C
3 final boulders determine the winner in the finals!
