WELCOME TO FLASHTEST!

Our annual friendly climbing competition is all about community, fun, and shared progress. Each location hosts its own friendly competition, giving climbers the opportunity to participate at their own level.

The overall concept is similar across all locations, the format may vary depending on which disciplines are available at each location.

For locations that host only one discipline, we organize a final round. This applies to Climbing Center Amsterdam, Climbing Center Heerenveen, Climbing Center Arnhem, and Boulder Gym Arnhem.

Members’ Entry:
Participation fee is €12.50, including a T-shirt.

You can earn points by attempting routes and boulders. Points are awarded for reaching zones and tops, with the highest number of points awarded for a flash. Register your points easily through the TopLogger app, available for download on all major platforms. Need any help? Our staff is always happy to assist you!

Scoring system

The final is exclusively for participants in the Max category. For the Lead Final, there will be one final route for each gender, with 3 male and 3 female finalists. For the Boulder Final, there will be three final boulders per gender, with 5 male and 5 female finalists. And of course, everyone is welcome to come and cheer on the finalists!

Final

For X there is one complete category, regardless of level. With more then 5 competitors, they will climb a final round as wel.

EVENT RULES

Register in your category – You will be ranked within the category you register for. You are still welcome to try all available routes and boulders.
All genders – Everyone climbs the same routes and boulders, but rankings are separated by gender.
Zones & tops – A zone or top only counts when you have full control of the hold. Simply touching the hold is not enough.
Attempts – Boulder attempts are unlimited. For lead, you have one attempt per route. All routes and boulders can be tried by everyone.
Finals – For our locations with only one discipline we host finals
- Boulder: the top 5 climbers per gender in the expert category advance to the boulder final.
- Lead: the top 3 climbers per gender in the expert category advance to the lead final.
Prizes for everyone! – The more points you collect throughout the event, the better your chances of winning a raffle prize!
Scoring – The goal is to collect as many points as possible. An attempt only counts when it is logged in the TopLogger app. For lead, each route has 3 zones and a top. For boulder, each problem has 1 zone and a top. For lead your best 5 routes count for your score!
